I have completed ~1500 hours of bodywork training in a range of modalities.
I went to Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) and graduated from their 1000 hour massage program in 2006. I stayed at BCMT for another 6 months to complete an Associates of Occupational Studies (AOS) degree in massage therapy. My focus in school was neuromuscular massage and related modalities.
Immediately after massage school, I enrolled in the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy program at the Colorado School of energy studies, graduating in 2008.
|My practice consists of Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Neuromuscular, Trigger Point, Orthopedic, Injury Rehabilitation, Strain/Counter Strain, Swedish, Reflexology, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Trauma Work and Vibrational Medicine.
I specialize in TMJ (temporomandibular joint a.k.a. the jaw joint) work, whiplash injury recovery, and cranial bone mobilization. Having undergone whiplash and a jaw joint dislocation myself, I know how crucial the wellbeing of the head and neck are. The TMJ and the atlanto-occipital joint at the top of the spine both set the tone for the body; if either or both are ‘unhappy’, the rest of the body has a substantial burden put upon it, which can affect one’s whole life! I am passionate about helping people with their pain and functionality in these areas.
In my free time, I am a writer, musician, DJ and sound engineer. Currently I am beginning a Hermetic studies program.
