Carrie began her journey to find her own spiritual center several years ago in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, where a love for yoga grew into a passion for holistic healing. Trading the Appalachia for the majestic Colorado Rockies, she graduated from Boulder’s Healing Spirits Massage Program in 2014, and the art of practicing massage has since become a form of yoga for Carrie – the combination of movement, music, and spiritual communication empowers her to transfer her energy into healing others, and, in turn, she often finds herself equally rejuvenated.
|“Within you,” writes Herman Hesse in Siddhartha, “there is a stillness and sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time.” Carrie’s practice is dedicated to helping others find, build, and maintain that sanctuary. She offers Integrative Massage, which emphasizes connecting the entire body as a whole and focuses on increasing the client’s awareness of the mind-body connection. She draws upon a blend of Reiki, Chakra Balancing, and other forms of energy healing to nurture a stillness and tranquility within.
Carrie also has finished over 100 hours of Thai Yoga Massage training through the Integral Touch Institute and this Eastern modality is quickly becoming her true passion. She recently traveled overseas to Bali to take an advanced training, and came back with inspiration that she shows through her grounding mat bodywork sessions.
